What Makes Us Different?
IN-HOUSE PRODUCTION: While many companies offer similar services, most send the order out. Add their upcharge to shipping costs and shipping travel time and it could be awhile before you receive your finished order. It may be right, it may not. If not, more time is lost while your service provider contacts their service provider (who may also have to contact their provider). If your order is time-sensitive, what do you do?
ACCESSIBILITY: At BK Designworks, we produce most items in-house. You have the convenience of being able to sit down with us ~ PEOPLE ~ whether to discuss an upcoming project, go over changes, or pick up proofs. If you are unable to stop in, we may be able to visit you. You have the final word. ...and, if needed, the opportunity to make last-minute changes without disastrous, costly results.
CONSISTENCY OF SERVICE: You will not be shuffled from one customer service rep to another, because there are only two of us taking care of the ship: Karen & Diane, the owners. Nothing beats personal communication and genuine customer service.
ADAPTABILITY: Most printers and promotional product services severely limit what programs, filetypes and operating system they can produce from. At BK Designworks, we are able to take care of files from either Mac or PC. While we don't have every program out there, we do have all the majors and many others not often used. 99.9% of commercial printers will not accept files from MS Publisher, Printshop, Word, Works, Powerpoint or Picture It. Guess what? We will. Additionally, because our software knowledge & experience is pretty diverse, we may be able to help you resolve issues (if you're having trouble saving or sending files to us, for example).
BUSINESS CARDS TODAY: What do you do if you need business cards for a new employee tomorrow? For today's conference? Need 500 "emergency" cards in an hour? (Psst, call us or email the info. We'll call you when they are done!)

I (Diane) love the process of taking ideas (yours and ours) and creating something great, like photo collages full of memories to share with family & friends. When a customer sees their finished poster, it feels like we're opening presents at Christmas....eyes light up and smiles, smiles...
That doesn't happen if you have to press 1 to reach a service rep, press 2 to leave a voice message, 3 to leave a call-back number...they "may" return your call. Calls made to BK Designworks during "open hours" will always be answered by Karen or Diane. No machine. Real Service. Real People.
